The Spoils, 2019
This mess of elements reflect different magnitudes of the mining and transportation of raw materials and goods. In the piece, an ash wood grid sits atop a selection of industrial byproducts from stone quarries, mines and lumber mills as well as the byproducts of a fickle consumer culture- thrift store bric-a-brac such as out of fashion silver candle holders, brass figurines, plastic toys.
