This installation combines the image of the shifting and shrinking contours of the arctic ice sheet, with the encroachment of oil exploration and territorial divisions and the current geopolitical maneuvering that has been inspired by the melting of the Arctic Ice sheet and the UN treaty, the Law of the Sea. For this work, I looked in particular at the unusual view of the world from the north pole and at the ways territories converge and radiate out from this point.
